After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cotter, Wabasha-Kellogg was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Wabasha-Kellogg's got stronger as the match went on, holding Plainview-Elgin-Millville to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-16.

Wabasha-Kellogg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-14. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
