Basketball Recap: Loudoun County Comes Up Short

Loudoun County lost against Woodgrove on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Loudoun County Captains took a hard 49-34 fall against the Woodgrove Wolverines. The game marked the Captains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Loudoun County's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Woodgrove, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

When Loudoun County and Woodgrove next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Loudoun County will face off against Heritage and their 12-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodgrove will try to stop Loudoun Valley's four-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
