Softball Recap: Paint Valley Bearcats vs. Adena Warriors

Paint Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the Adena Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Paint Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Stauffer, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double was Stauffer's first of the season. Another was Lydia Hamilton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
