Basketball Recap: Groom Takes a Loss

Groom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the White Deer Bucks and fell 58-31. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-35 back in December of 2024.

Groom's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for White Deer, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Claude the next time they take the court. White Deer will host Claude at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Groom will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
