Basketball Recap: Chagrin Falls Tigers vs. Twinsburg Tigers
After flying high against Brooklyn last Wednesday, Chagrin Falls came back down to earth. The Chagrin Falls Tigers took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twinsburg Tigers on Saturday. Chagrin Falls has struggled against Twinsburg recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Defeat or not, Chagrin Falls got some senior leadership from Ryan Curtiss and Oscar Difranco. Curtiss went 7 for 13 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds, while Difranco went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Kay, who posted eight points.
Chagrin Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Twinsburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Chagrin Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-48 win against West Geauga on the 11th. As for Twinsburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-50 defeat against North Royalton on the 13th.
