Basketball Recap: Central Lyon Comes Up Short

Central Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 59-51 to the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-39 back in January.

Central Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Central Lyon will venture away from home to face off against Okoboji at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Lyon is facing Okoboji at the right time seeing as Okoboji is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they will face off against West Lyon on Tuesday. West Lyon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley likes a good challenge.
