            Softball Recap: Narbonne Gauchos vs. Fremont Pathfinders        
        
		
        
        
            Narbonne got themselves on the board against Fremont on Monday, but Fremont never followed suit. They blew past the Fremont Pathfinders 11-0. Fans of the Gauchos have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Delilah Erwin was a major factor no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Furthermore,  she didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  she has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March of 2024.

 In other batting news,  Anaiya Anderson was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lilliana Gutierrez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Narbonne was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
Narbonne pushed their record up to 3-0 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Coming up, Narbonne will face off against Bell at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Narbonne knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bell likes a good challenge. As for Fremont, they will challenge Roybal at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
