Lifegate Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blaine Harvey, who posted six points in addition to six boards and six steals. Harvey is becoming a predictor of Lifegate Christian's success: when he posts at least five steals the team is undefeated (and 7-13 when he doesn't). Rowe Hansen was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

McCauley Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Salazar, who had eight points along with 14 boards and three blocks. Salazar is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last 16 games he's played. Another player making a difference was CJ Miller, who earned ten points.

Lifegate Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for McCauley Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Lifegate Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-33 victory against Southwest Prep Northwest on the 10th. As for McCauley Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-32 defeat against Vanguard Christian on the 10th.
