Baseball Recap: Greenbrier Christian Academy Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Greenbrier Christian Academy entered their tilt with Granby on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Comets. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 12 runs or more this season.

Greenbrier Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Tucker Rupe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Rupe has posted since back in April of 2024. Thomas Conrad was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Greenbrier Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .515 or higher in three consecutive matches.

The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Granby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Greenbrier Christian Academy and Granby will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Greenbrier Christian Academy will square off against rival Broadwater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Granby is set to challenge their familiar foe Norview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
