Softball Recap: Spokane Comes Up Short

After soaring to 29 runs the game before, Spokane was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against the Marionville Comets, falling 21-1. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Spokane saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Essick, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Spokane now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marionville, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spokane will welcome Crane at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marionville, they will host Exeter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
