Volleyball Recap: Eastview Takes a Loss

If Eastview was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Woodbury on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lightning lost 3-0 to the East Ridge Raptors on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Lightning in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Eastview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for East Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Eastview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Eagan at 7:00 p.m.
