It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Coconino had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Deer Valley Skyhawks  a   3-0 shutout. The Panthers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 21 straight.
Not much got past  Kaitlyn Tso, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 18 Ks to keep Deer Valley off the board. Tso has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 28 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Aryanna Dominguez, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Danica Kern, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Coconino's win was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 26-4. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Deer Valley, their loss  ended  an  eight-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 22-7-1.
 Coconino didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  victory against Eastmark on the 7th. Deer Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
