Basketball Recap: Tennessee Heat Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Tennessee Heat had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Rocket City Falcons by a score of 42-33 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for Tennessee Heat, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Trotter, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks. That's the most blocks Trotter has posted since back in November of 2024. Allegra Borchers was another key player, putting up six points along with 12 boards and eight blocks.

Tennessee Heat's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Rocket City, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Tennessee Heat has already played their next match (against KIPP Nashville Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rocket City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 34-32 loss against Providence Classical on the 3rd.
