Yorktown came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 34-28 W over the Three Rivers Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-20 back in December of 2024.

Three Rivers' loss came despite strong showings from Morgan Niembro and Kloe Duran. Niembro went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points, while Duran posted six points.

Yorktown's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Three Rivers, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
