Volleyball Recap: Honeoye Falls-Lima Comes Up Short

Honeoye Falls-Lima was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Batavia Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Honeoye Falls-Lima's offense was headlined by Emily Hart and Audrey Samson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Taylor Foos and her five assists. Zoey Schrader controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Honeoye Falls-Lima now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Batavia, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Honeoye Falls-Lima has already played their next contest (against Brockport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Batavia, they will face off against Pittsford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
