Softball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence suffered their closest loss since March 21st on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lauderdale County Tigers by a score of 9-7. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Lauderdale County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Bob Jones on the 14th. As for Lauderdale County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against Rogers on the 12th.
