Volleyball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Da Vinci Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Loretto's record is now 5-11. As for Da Vinci, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3-1 record this season.

Loretto will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Teresa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Da Vinci, they will challenge Jesus Chapel at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
