Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lainey Gill and Kylie Storkamp Lead Foley to Victory

Foley hadn't done well against St. Cloud Cathedral recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Foley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Leading Foley to victory were Kylie Storkamp and Lainey Gill. Storkamp had 27 assists, while Gill had 11 assists and four digs. Storkamp is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Foley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16.

As of now, neither Foley nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
