Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wirt County). They claimed a resounding 74-43 victory over the Richwood Lumberjacks. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.

It was another big night for Tyler Smith, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 22 points and three steals. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. Jake Moore was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.

Wirt County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

Wirt County's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Richwood, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Wirt County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Richwood: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
