Football Game Preview: Hart Hawks vs. Palm Springs Indians + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Matix Frithsmith and Jordan Johnson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hart Hawks will take on the Palm Springs Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hart is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Mayfair 52-24. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Hawks just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Palm Springs won against Rancho Mirage two weeks ago with 33 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Indians put the hurt on Claremont with a sharp 33-7 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 436th).

Palm Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tyler Hebrard. Palm Springs got some further help from Koa Rapolla: he picked up two sacks, forced two fumbles, and made 17 total tackles.

Hart is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for Palm Springs, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
