Preview: Irvington vs. Kennedy
The Irvington Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Kennedy Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Irvington nor Kennedy posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
For the first time since back in December of 2023, Irvington was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and American finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Kennedy has not won a game since January 12th, a trend which continued on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 4-1 walloping at the hands of Washington.
Irvington's draw gives them a new season record of 5-9-2. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-5.
Irvington skirted past Kennedy 1-0 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Irvington since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
