Football Recap: Manistique Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Manistique lost against Iron Mountain back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Emeralds had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Mountaineers. While losing is never fun, the Emeralds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 138th).

Manistique now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Iron Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manistique will square off against rival L'Anse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Iron Mountain is set to face off against their familiar foe West Iron County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
