Baseball Recap: Plainview-Elgin-Millville Comes Up Short

Plainview-Elgin-Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Lourdes Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Saturday.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lourdes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will face off against Lewiston-Altura at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lourdes, they will challenge Cotter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
