The Hartsville Red Foxes's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They came out on top against West Florence by a score of 47-40. That's another feather in the cap for Hartsville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hartsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braden Crawley, who scored six points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of McCoy Harry, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Hartsville's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for West Florence, they bumped their record down to 6-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartsville will take on Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilson will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for West Florence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Florence knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully West Florence likes a good challenge.
