Soccer Recap: California Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact California can now relate to. They fell just short of the Granada Matadors by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Matadors: they've now lost three in a row.

California's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Granada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

California does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granada, they will face off against Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsburg will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Granada surely won't give up without a fight.
