After a string of five wins, Airport's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bedford Kicking Mules. The shutout was out of character for the Jets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Airport was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5-1. As for Bedford, they pushed their record up to 30-13 with the win, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Airport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bedford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 1st.
