Baseball Recap: Greenfield Knights vs. Burlington Christian Academy Royals

On Saturday, the Greenfield Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Burlington Christian Academy Royals. The win made it back-to-back victories for Greenfield.

Christopher Tankersley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. Tankersley has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Tankersley was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
