Recap: Carol City Chiefs vs. Coral Reef Barracudas
On Monday, Carol City ended up a good deal behind Coral Reef and lost 62-44.
Despite the defeat, Carol City saw an underclassman step up: Jahquori Lombrage scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Lombrage has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Oluwasemilore Adewoye, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Carol City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Coral Reef, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carol City won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Miami at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Coral Reef, they will head out on the road to challenge Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
