Pearland was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Dobie on Wednesday. The Pearland Oilers claimed a resounding 51-21 victory over the Dobie Longhorns. The Oilers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 games by 20 points or more this season.

Eliece Perry continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 of 16 on her way to 25 points and six boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Shiloh Grays, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Pearland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Pearland is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for Dobie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-19.
