Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Spartans vs. Immaculate Conception Academy
The Calvary Christian Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Immaculate Conception Academy by a score of 71-59. The win was familiar territory for Calvary Christian who now have three in a row.
Philip Davie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Schlatter, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Calvary Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Immaculate Conception Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing East Dayton Christian the next time they take the court. Immaculate Conception Academy will host East Dayton Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calvary Christian will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
