Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Victorious

Tabernacle Christian won the last time they faced Christian Academy of Madison, and Liz Southerland did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tabernacle Christian Eagles strolled past the Christian Academy of Madison Defenders with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 51-32 thanks in part to Southerland, who posted 29 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tabernacle Christian's points.

Tabernacle Christian's record now sits at 6-9. As for Christian Academy of Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle Christian has already played their next match (against Colonial Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Christian Academy of Madison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
