Softball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wharton Wildcats. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Cheyenne Crump made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that she scored this season.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wharton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Robinson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-2 victory against Leto on the 25th. As for Wharton, they have also already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Freedom on the 25th.
