Baseball Recap: Crosbyton Takes a Loss

Crosbyton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Trinity Christian Lions, falling 23-7. One positive for the Chiefs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Crosbyton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miah Marquez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Crosbyton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trinity Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.

Crosbyton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-3 loss against Jayton on the 17th. As for Trinity Christian, they will challenge Tascosa at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
