Baseball Recap: Rosman Comes Up Short

Rosman lost against Polk County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rosman Tigers came up short against the Polk County Wolverines, falling 19-2.

Rosman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Henderson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Henderson a new career-high in hits (two).

Rosman's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Polk County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosman will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Cherokee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Polk County, they will welcome Mitchell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
