1A Conference 3 recap November 19, 2013
Cherryville extended the longest winning streak in 1A Conference 3 this week by beating Highland Tech, 42-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Bessemer City's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Josh Davis chipped in 96 yards.
Davis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Yellowjackets lost to Avery County.
Isaiah Cole was the best wideout in the league this week as Bessemer City lost to the Vikings. Cole racked up 1 reception for 10 yards.
Thomas Jefferson Academy's Mason Martin and Efrim Borders have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Martin has thrown for 1,199 yards this season, while Borders has 45 catches for 811 yards. Cedric Mackey from Larry Boone's team leads the league in rushing with 1,573 yards.
In 146 carries Joey Bernardini has accumulated 934 yard this year.
Keith Fox's team led 1A Conference 3 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Jerry Jordan's team.
