Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Reds vs. Pine View Panthers

Cedar and Pine View are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Cedar Reds will head out on the road to square off against the Pine View Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Cedar came up short against Snow Canyon and fell 56-49.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Desert Hills on Monday, sneaking past 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since December 14, 2024.

Pine View is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Cedar, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Cedar came up short against Pine View when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 59-47. Can Cedar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
