Columbus Grove kept a clean sheet against Kalida on Thursday. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. Considering Columbus Grove have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Kalida with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Devanie Pingle, Ruth Myers, and Allison Thompson.

The win (which was Columbus Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 12-2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matches. As for Kalida, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-1.

Columbus Grove and Kalida are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bulldogs will square off against Lima Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus Grove will be up against Lima Central Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.92 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kalida, they will face off against Ada on Tuesday.
