Basketball Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

Woodbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Laurel Bulldogs on the road by a 43-27 margin. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Woodbridge's record now sits at 0-4. As for Laurel, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodbridge and North Caroline will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laurel, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sussex Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
