Volleyball Game Preview: Excel Christian Warriors vs. Pyramid Lake Lakers

Excel Christian is 2-7 against Pyramid Lake since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Lakers at 5:00 p.m.

Excel Christian came up short against Smith Valley on Saturday, falling 3-0.

While Excel Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Pyramid Lake made easy work of Sage Ridge on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Scorpions: they've now won eight in a row.

Excel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pyramid Lake, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
