Meanwhile, Porter Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They secured a 66-61 W over Weddington. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cuthbertson has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Porter Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
