Baseball Recap: Glenbard South Has No Trouble Against Elgin

Glenbard South won the last time they faced Elgin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Maroons with a sharp 7-1 victory.

Dylan Taylor was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Hunter Fort was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Glenbard South's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-16. As for Elgin, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21-1.

Coming up, Glenbard South will face off against Glenbard West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elgin, they will square off against St. Edward at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
