Lamar has gone a perfect 3-0 against Wisdom recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 p.m. Wisdom took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lamar, who comes in off a win.

Lamar proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Westside 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Texans have posted against the Wolves since October 12, 2021.

Lamar wouldn't go down easily and took Westside into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 24-26, 15-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Wisdom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Heights.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-2, 25-6.

Wisdom's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lamar, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Everything went Lamar's way against Wisdom when the teams last played back in September, as Lamar made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Texans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
