The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Lions on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.
The victory got Meridian back to even at 9-9. As for Lynden, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10.
Coming up, Meridian will challenge Mt. Baker at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are facing the Mountaineers at the right time seeing as the Mountaineers are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Lynden, they will take on Oak Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
