Leading Edge Academy - GEC had won four straight games and Shailey Imbert did her part to make it five on Friday. The Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans claimed a resounding 56-27 victory over the Desert Christian Eagles thanks in part to Imbert, who shot 7-for-10 from long range and almost dropped a triple-double on 28 points, nine boards, and nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last four games she's played.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Desert Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-32 victory against Kingman Academy on the 4th.
