Basketball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Comes Up Short

Wilber-Clatonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fillmore Central Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-22 back in December of 2024.

Wilber-Clatonia's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Fillmore Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-15.

Coming up, Wilber-Clatonia will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fillmore Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fillmore Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
