Volleyball Recap: Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] and Greenway meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Greenway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
