Softball Recap: Blue Ridge Tigers vs. Howe Bulldogs
Blue Ridge's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Howe Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Paige Elder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

As for Howe, they will head out on the road to challenge Leonard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
