Basketball Game Preview: DSST: Montview Knights vs. DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors

The DSST: Montview Knights will head out on the road to face off against the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. DSST: Montview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully DSST: Green Valley Ranch likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, DSST: Montview strolled past Lincoln with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.

Meanwhile, DSST: Green Valley Ranch had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They blew past the Commanders 73-40. The Raptors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for DSST: Montview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
