Softball Recap: Otsego Beats Rossford for Their Third Straight Victory

Otsego won against Genoa Area on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Knights' way against the Rossford Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-3 win. Considering the Knights have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Otsego's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Rossford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Otsego will challenge rival Maumee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rossford is set to take on their familiar foe Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
