Basketball Recap: Loara Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Loara can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 40-39 to the Orange Panthers. The Saxons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 52-51.

Orange got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mark Hernandez-Chino out in front who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Vic Ceja, who had nine points.

Loara's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Orange, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-24.

As of now, neither Loara nor Orange have any future games scheduled.
